TND Group Europe has acquired Mundo Security, marking a further step in the development of a strong, integrated security group. The combination brings together TND’s broad service offering for corporate and public-sector clients with Mundo’s expertise in event security. Both companies will retain their own name and corporate culture.

TND has developed into a successful security organisation, with long-term guarding contracts forming a solid foundation for its business. The group combines on-site guarding with mobile intervention services, technology, drones, control-room activities and hospitality services. Mundo has a strong position in event security, where assignments are typically shorter in duration and staffing requirements fluctuate more significantly.

This is where the strategic rationale of the transaction lies. By combining long-term assignments with shorter-term event contracts, the group can balance capacity more effectively throughout the year and deploy its teams with greater flexibility. This creates a more balanced business mix, offers employees greater variety and development opportunities, and gives clients access to an integrated offering ranging from permanent guarding to security and hospitality services at events.

The combination extends beyond the businesses themselves. Michiel Minjauw, founder and reference shareholder of TND Group Europe, welcomes Mundo Security’s founders, Jan De Loof and Peter Renty, together with Mundo’s key management team, as co-shareholders of the group. This ensures that the entrepreneurial spirit remains embedded in the business and enables the teams to jointly build the future of TND.

The combination strengthens TND’s position in a private security market that continues to grow and professionalise. It also represents a further milestone for TND Group Europe, an existing Smart Deal facilitated by SDM. The transaction illustrates the Smart Deal philosophy: bringing together strong entrepreneurs and complementary businesses to support their shared future growth. SDM Corporate Finance Group advised TND Group Europe on the acquisition of Mundo Security.
