Isoworx has acquired the Ghent-based company Isolatiewerken De Zutter, taking an important strategic step in its continued growth within the technical insulation sector. Both companies, specialized in the insulation of HVAC installations for the B2B market, are joining forces to combine their expertise and strengthen their position in Flanders. The fast-growing company Isoworx, founded by entrepreneurs Jimmy Van den Rul and Pieter Rober, expects to achieve a turnover of approximately EUR 11 million with a team of around 70 employees following the integration.
“This acquisition is not only about scaling up, but above all about further professionalization and strengthening a shared vision of quality and service. By combining our strengths, we increase our capacity, can respond more quickly, and continue building sustainable and efficient partnerships with customers throughout Flanders. Thanks to our second location, we now benefit from stronger local anchoring and broader operational coverage,” says Pieter Rober.
“The role of technical HVAC insulation is becoming increasingly important in more sustainable and energy-efficient business environments. Companies are investing heavily in energy optimization, stricter EPB regulations, high-performance production environments, and controlled climate systems. Properly insulated HVAC installations not only reduce energy loss, but also improve system efficiency, lower maintenance costs, and extend the lifespan of technical infrastructure,” explains Philip Bobbaers, CEO of Isoworx.
“For sectors such as food production, industry, and large utility construction projects, high-quality HVAC insulation is essential to guarantee temperature control, condensation management, fire safety, and operational reliability. In production environments where processes are becoming increasingly technical and energy-intensive, the importance of specialized insulation partners who can respond quickly and think alongside installers and contractors continues to grow,” adds Jimmy Van Den Rul.
The integration also offers important operational advantages. “Thanks to the geographical spread, our teams can operate closer to project sites, which both limits travel times and enables faster service delivery,” says Michaël De Zutter, who will remain actively involved in the group’s further growth story. “In addition, we are creating additional capacity and strengthening our expertise. From quotation to project delivery, we aim to fully support our customers through clear communication, reliability, and high-quality execution.”
The acquisition fits within the group’s clear buy-and-build strategy aimed at further strengthening its position as a leading player in technical HVAC insulation. The headquarters will remain located in Genk.
