On Dec. 30, 2020, the French group Igienair acquired the shares of Valor Services Group.
Valor Services Group is a one-stop-shop in Belgium and the Netherlands for industrial cleaning (including professional industrial kitchens, production and food plants, air purification plants, sanitary areas, pest control, etc.). The group consists of Valor Services, All Kitchen Maintenance, Allindus, GIS/VTO and Alpebro. The Valor Services Group has 92 employees and realized a turnover of 10 million euros in 2020.
At the end of April 2017, Stéphane Goubau and Gérald Goubau bring De Kobra and Allindus together under one holding company through a Smart Deal: a strategic fit between a manufacturer of commercial kitchen ventilation and a service company. They professionalize both companies and launch a successful buy and build story, co-supported by SDM-Valorum and a group of investors.
After the acquisitions of All Kitchen Maintenance, Valor Services, GIS/VTO and Alpebro, this group quadruples its results and also undergoes a complete rebranding under the name of Valor Services Group. Kobra will continue to exist independently following the acquisition of the service branch by Igienair.
Igienair, founded in 2003 by Evrard de Ponnat, is mainly active in air treatment and the cleaning and maintenance of ventilation systems. The group has 26 branches across France, Germany, Luxembourg, Switzerland, Dubai and Belgium, employs 500 people and serves more than 25,000 customers annually. This acquisition significantly strengthens Igienair’s market position in Belgium and the Netherlands.
Thierry Desmet, who recently held the role of co-CEO alongside Stéphane Goubau, remains on board Valor Services Group as a minority shareholder and will continue to lead and develop the activities in Belgium and the Netherlands. The shareholders of Valor Services Group were assisted in this transaction by SDM-Valorum.
