Belgian dairy companies Vache Bleue Group and Flanders Food Productions (FFP) are joining forces to create a new holding company, European Dairy Company. With a combined revenue of €500 million, the new entity will become a major player in the European dairy industry. SDM provided advisory services to the shareholders of FFP in this transaction.

The merger combines the strong brands and production capabilities of Vache Bleue Group with the private label expertise of FFP. Together, they offer a diverse range of cheese products for retail, foodservice, and industrial sectors.

With European Dairy Company, Vache Bleue Group and FFP will enhance their market position while maintaining their Belgian heritage and existing locations. The focus will be on expansion plans and synergies in export markets, with current management and operations remaining unchanged.
