SDM is assisting Hugo Wafels in the transfer to a strategic partner

Hugo Wafels is a Belgian family business, founded in 1990, specializing in the production of a wide range of artisanal waffles. They are best known for their door-to-door sales through schools and associations.

Strict selection of raw materials and meticulous quality control at every step of the production process allows them to guarantee perfect quality across the entire range. To sustain the company’s growth, Hugo Wafels moved to Tubize in 2014, where a fully automated production chain was set up.

Today Armand, Els and Tanja D’Hoe are handing over the torch to a strategic player for the further expansion of the company. SDM-Valorum acted as advisor to the D’Hoe family on the transfer of Hugo Wafels.
