The Sleever Group, an innovative leader in Sleeve labeling, has acquired a majority stake in Helios Packaging.
The acquisition fits perfectly with the Group’s strategy to strengthen its European presence, particularly in the Benelux region. As the creator of Sleeve technology, Sleever is renowned for its innovative approach. The Group realizes a turnover of approximately EUR 150 million with 1,000 employees spread over 12 countries.
As a family business with a focus on packaging via Sleeves, Helios Packaging shares the Sleever Group’s values. Based in Wommelgem, Helios was founded in 2009 and now achieves an annual turnover of about 5 million EUR with its 20 employees.
Frédéric Boehlen, the former owner of Helios Packaging, retains a minority stake and remains active as a member of the board of directors and as general manager of the company.
SDM Corporate Finance Group facilitated the transaction between Helios Packaging and the Sleever Group.
