Accounting firm ACCM from Heist-Op-Den-Berg has joined the larger accounting firm TACCX Partners. TACCX now has fifty staff members. ACCM will now work together with accounting firm Hugo Decker Accountants under the wings of TACCX.
Michel Corthout of ACCM is pleased with joining Taccx Partners. “Thanks to this step, we can give our employees more opportunities. I am thinking of training, access to expertise and opportunities for advancement.” He also sees only benefits for his clients. “Continuity is assured and in terms of service and efficiency we are clearly improving.”
With the acquisition, Taccx Partners has also immediately become the market leader of the Antwerp Kempen region. “Admittedly in the world of accounting and accountancy firms,” laughs Joost Vandecruys of Taccx Partners. “Now, with this acquisition we count fifty staff members.” Taccx has offices in Westerlo, Berlaar, Wommelgem, Zandhoven and, through the acquisition of ACCM, now also in Heist-Op-Den-Berg.
The acquisition also means a wider range of services that the firms can offer. “In 2021 there was the merger with Hugo Decker Accountants and in February 2022 we entered into a partnership with Bofidi,” says Vandecruys. “That resulted in scaling up the additional services that Bofidi had developed in recent years: payroll service, tax advice, legal advice and business consulting. This gave us the opportunity to offer our clients an additional range of services, while allowing our employees to specialize even more in a particular niche. At the same time, this also set the stage for our acquisition of the accounting firm ACCM.”
