Following the entry earlier this year of investment platform On IT into its capital, the Belgian technology holding CTG, short for Classo Technology Group, is moving forward with the execution of its strategic plan.

The renowned Flemish on-site ICT company Digi Consult, based in Denderleeuw and known for its services around Ricoh products, document management, and interactive meeting solutions, joined CTG on October 26.

Ivan Verhasselt, former owner of Digi Consult, will remain as CEO and, together with his entire team, will continue to grow the company. He will also join the CTG management team as Head of Sales and serve on the Board of Directors.

Rudi Van Laer, Managing Director of Classo Technology Group:
“From the very beginning, CTG’s goal has been to become a major Belgian player in office technology for Belgian companies and organizations. With Ivan Verhasselt, we are bringing on board someone who shares our vision and ambition, and who will use his experience to streamline our sales approach and processes.
With the acquisition of Digi Consult, we instantly become a market leader in Flanders. We will leverage this position to provide even better local service to all our customers and, alongside the strong organic growth of our subsidiaries, continue to pursue further acquisitions. Our strategic focus remains on further geographical expansion.”

Ivan Verhasselt, CEO of Digi Consult:
“I have long been convinced that Digi Consult could only play a relevant role in the future by working together with like-minded entrepreneurs. During initial discussions, it quickly became clear that our visions were almost identical, and we quickly decided to join forces.
In addition to the obvious operational synergies that the transaction brings, I am confident that the strong story we are now building with CTG, as a 100% Belgian company, will be very well received by our customers and the market as a whole.”
