Founded in 1989 by Patrick Gepts and Benny De Bruyn, Airquality Group NV is a multi-technology installation company with a unique geographical location in Flanders. The company focuses on the installation of heat pumps, realizing around 500 installations per year. When Daikin started superdealers around 1998, Airquality was one of the first partners to be selected.
This superdealer label guarantees the quality of execution and training of the installation technicians Airquality Group NV. With a second business unit, the company is active in large-scale kitchen technology. The company is the exclusive importer of a prominent brand of catering equipment.
SDM-Valorum was mandated by Patrick Gepts and Benny De Bruyn in the search for a strategic investor. With Michal Piatkowski, an experienced professional was brought on board who, through a management buy-in (MBI) transaction supported by the sellers, acquired shares of Airquality Group NV in order to guarantee the continuity of the company and strengthen the management. The current heat pump technology and regulations, combined with the knowledge present within the company, means that, together with the thirty employees, they are ready to continue along the course that has been achieved.
