IGUANA is a company that developed its own Document Management Software and couples it with services to digitize large archives. It also builds advanced book scanners under the Qidenus brand. Headquartered in Zaventem, the company has offices in the Netherlands, Cyprus, Prague and Vienna and works for large hospital groups, libraries, museums and both public and private companies.

After several years of strong growth and international expansion, shareholders Stéphane Horta and Herwig Eelen engaged SDM-Valorum to find a strategic partner to sustain the company’s growth.

After an international search, SDM-Valorum found that partner in Youston of Limburg, led by Peter Vansynghel and market leader in the Benelux for “digital scanning solutions.” Youston is a company that stocks large archives and digitizes them if required. Most recently, Youston opened a new warehouse where up to 5 million archive boxes can be stored. Stéphane Horta says: “In Youston, we find a very complementary partner who will help shape our internationalization”. For IGUANA’s 75 employees, the future is thus assured. Stéphane Horta and Herwig Eelen remain on board in the new group.
