Maister and SKINN have decided to merge, combining their complementary expertise in creative concept development and brand strategy. Maister, renowned for its innovative concepts, and SKINN, with a strong focus on branding and brand creation, will now offer an integrated service package that elevates branding, interior design, architecture, and digital development. This synergy will enable them to serve their clients more effectively, supporting them at every stage of their brand development journey.
Shared vision for the future
A combined team of over 50 professionals, led by CEO Ruth Bossuyt, will operate from offices in Roeselare, Antwerp, Bruges, Ghent, and Amsterdam. This merger not only raises the bar for creativity but also provides access to a strengthened network of investors and partners through the Smart Deal structure. This network equips both organizations with the resources and expertise to accelerate their growth ambitions and enhance their presence locally, nationally, and internationally.
Forward-looking partnership
As Bram Couvreur explains, this merger presents a unique opportunity to broaden the scope of their creative services. “By joining forces with SKINN, we can provide a fully integrated solution, allowing us to meet our clients’ needs even better,” Couvreur stated.
Additionally, this merger marks a significant milestone for SKINN as they move forward without their long-time partner David van Gessel, who will step down after 17 years on October 1, 2024. Under Ruth Bossuyt’s leadership, SKINN will continue focusing on qualitative growth and expanding its service offerings, supported by strategic partners.
With this merger, Maister and SKINN strengthen their position in the market, working towards a future where brands and organizations become more resilient and relevant. The combined team will remain committed to delivering unique brand experiences, from strategy to physical and digital execution.
SDM facilitated the merger from start to finish under the Smart Deal structure, ensuring that the entrepreneurs were fully supported so they could focus on what they do best: running their businesses.
